Overhead cranes that don't go down.
Installation, manufacturing, preventive and corrective service for overhead cranes. More than 100 bridge cranes put into service.
More than 100 bridge cranes
installed, tested and running.
More than a decade and over 100 bridge cranes installed and commissioned. Structure, electromechanical assembly, electrical hook-up, drive settings, start-up and load testing on request (the customer supplies the test load). We do the whole job ourselves, with our own crew. Today we build them, install them and service them. We work in Monterrey and across the Nuevo León industrial corridor, installing and servicing bridge cranes for manufacturing and automotive plants.
We service overhead cranes, hoists and controls. Preventive and corrective maintenance, plus inspection with load testing — to cut the unplanned downtime on your crane.

The right crane for your building,
with one party accountable.
There is no universal crane: capacity, span and the structure of your building decide what is right. That is why we build each crane to spec, install it with our own crew — plumbing, grouting and leveling that lock in the geometry from day one — and stand behind it for its service life, with documented projects from 1 to 60 tons.
Crane types we build, install and service

Single girder bridge crane
The most efficient setup for light and medium loads: less structural weight and good hook coverage in a standard building.

Double girder bridge crane
For heavier capacities and wide spans, with the hoist riding on top of the girders to gain hook height.

Gantry crane
For buildings with no columns or runway beams to carry a crane: the structure rides on floor rail, and it works outdoors in the yard too.

Semi-gantry crane
A hybrid: one end runs on an overhead runway beam and the other on floor rail, to cover part of a building.

Jib crane
Spot coverage for a single workstation, swinging on its own column; we have delivered jib cranes up to 12 tons, turnkey.
We round out every crane with wire rope hoists for bridge cranes and chain or air hoists for jib cranes, plus pendants, radio controls, wheels and electrical panels — supplied, installed and tested by the same crew.
The projects behind the number
More than 100 bridge cranes installed, and here is what that looks like: 38 cranes of 5 and 10 tons installed and tested, plus close to 10,000 feet of runway rail and conductor bar, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Complete relocation of a 40-ton crane at the Bemis plant — plumbing 12 columns, grouting, leveling 10 runway beams and reconnecting the electrical bus 20 feet up. A 15-ton double girder crane installed at the Rocand plant in Silao.
Overhead crane services.
Bridge crane installation
Complete assembly: structure, electrical hook-up and start-up.
Preventive maintenance
A documented 66-point inspection: hoist, trolley, bridge and electrical.
Corrective maintenance
Repair of any failure on any component of your crane.
Drives and electrical
Electrical repair, variable frequency drives and panels.
Load testing
On request, with a documented report. The customer supplies the test load.
Crane manufacturing
Single girder, double girder, gantry, semi-gantry and jib cranes, built to spec.
Maintenance that meets the standard.
In Mexico, NOM-006-STPS-2023 — in force since September 2024, replacing the 2014 standard — requires every plant to keep a documented inspection and maintenance program for its cranes, trained personnel, and a load test before returning any crane to service after it has been modified or relocated. If your crane has no such file, the exposure is not just an STPS inspection: it is a suspended load with nothing backing it. This is the Mexican equivalent of the crane inspection regime you would know from OSHA and ASME B30 — the requirement is the same idea, the paperwork is Mexican.
Preventive maintenance: the 66-point inspection
Preventive work runs on our 66-point inspection form, which covers the whole crane: hoist (hook and latch, wire rope and guide, drum, sheaves, motor and load brakes, gearboxes, couplings, motor and control limits), trolley and bridge (drive and idler wheels, gearing, pinions, gear cases, brakes, couplings and motors), electrical (collectors, conductor bar, pendant and its cable, radio control, contactors, drives, protection devices and emergency stop) and general safety (housekeeping, lubrication, guards, capacity markings, access and limit operation), closing with a function test of every motion. Every point is graded and anything needing repair is ranked by urgency — you get the report signed by the technician, and your crane file stays current.
Corrective maintenance
We handle any failure that stops your crane, on any component: brakes, wheels and bearings, gearboxes, contactors, wire rope, drives and panels. We have replaced rope on 60/10-ton cranes, serviced 25- and 30-ton units, and done advanced drive configuration such as crane #3 at National Material in Hermosillo.
Related services
- Runway rail alignment and squaring — precision work that prevents uneven wear on wheels and structure, like the job on cranes D, E and F at Mex Steel.
- Runway rail and conductor bar installation — complete runways for an industrial building.
- Hoist supply and installation — wire rope for bridge cranes; chain or air for jib cranes. In whatever capacity your operation needs, integrated, installed and tested with the crane.
- Accessories and controls — pendants, radio controls, wheels and electrical panels.
Splitting this work among different contractors — one for the erection, another for the runway, a third for the drives — usually ends in alignment problems, premature wear and downtime. With MECSOL it all sits under one contract and one point of responsibility. Every service comes with a report: what was checked, what was found and what is urgent. Your crane file stays current.
